Senior DevOps Engineer, German

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Design and sustain cloud infrastructure along with automation solutions.

• Implement and enhance CI/CD pipelines.

• Provide support for Kubernetes-based environments and cloud-native applications.

• Enhance monitoring, observability, and reliability practices.

• Engage in incident response and problem-solving efforts.

• Assist in the implementation of SLI/SLO and operational excellence initiatives.

• Collaborate effectively with developers, architects, and stakeholders.

• Foster a DevOps culture and encourage continuous improvement across teams.

• Contribute to a large-scale engineering transformation project for a prominent German client.

• Enhance platform reliability, automation, deployment processes, and cloud infrastructure.

• Aid teams in adopting contemporary DevOps and SRE methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or SRE roles.

• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and cloud platforms.

• Proficient in designing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform.

• Experience in creating and managing CI/CD pipelines.

• Knowledge of monitoring, observability, and incident management practices.

• Experience in supporting production environments and enhancing system reliability.

• Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and containerized workloads.

• Capable of collaborating closely with development and architecture teams.

• Fluent in German (B2+) and possess good English communication skills.

• Experience with GitOps tools such as ArgoCD.

• Proficient with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), GKE, or EKS.

• Experienced in building internal developer platforms.

• Knowledgeable about SLI/SLO concepts.

• Holds cloud or Kubernetes certifications.

• Experienced in utilizing AI tools in daily workflows.
