Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance the AWS infrastructure utilizing Terraform and Terragrunt, which includes multi-account setups, networking, data layers, and EKS.

• Manage and refine CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.

• Adjust infrastructure to meet current workloads through autoscaling and maintain cost transparency.

• Contribute to the development of the Agent Runtime and Ingestor for document processing, ensuring their scalability and stability.

• Oversee monitoring, alerting, and backup systems.

• Take ownership of Developer Experience: design tools, development environments, pipelines, and releases.

• Construct infrastructure that can achieve ISO 27001 certification.

• Assist in responding to customer security questionnaires.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience with AWS—preferably in multi-account settings—and Infrastructure as Code, particularly with Terraform and Terragrunt.

• Proficient in CI/CD and GitOps methodologies (e.g., GitHub Actions, ArgoCD), IAM, and the principle of least privilege.

• Practical experience with autoscaling in Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with ISO 27001 and ISMS processes, such as risk management, policy creation, or audit preparation is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Understanding of monitoring, audit trails, and backup strategies.

• Experience with AI-assisted coding and a readiness to utilize these tools effectively in daily tasks.

• Knowledge of Postgres, Redis with BullMQ, and NestJS is a bonus but not required.

• Proficient in both German and English.
