DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and enhance cloud infrastructure on AWS within a Linux-based setting

• Deliver daily DevOps support, encompassing environment configuration, troubleshooting for builds/deployments, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines

• Create backend systems utilizing TypeScript, Java, Python, Node.js, SQL-based RDBMS, and AWS CDK

• Automate and manage cloud infrastructure through Infrastructure as Code utilizing AWS CloudFormation in conjunction with AWS CDK

• Design, construct, and sustain CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline and GitHub Actions

• Implement monitoring and observability solutions with tools such as Datadog, New Relic, or similar

• Employ SRE methodologies to guarantee high availability, scalability, performance, and effective incident response

• Diagnose and resolve issues across application layers, operating systems, and components of cloud infrastructure

• Oversee and automate file transfer processes, uphold system security, and monitor system alerts

• Collaborate with development, engineering, product, support teams, and external stakeholders

⛳️ Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or a related field

• Extensive knowledge in managing and scaling cloud infrastructure on AWS in a Linux-based environment using CDK (AWS Cloud Development Kit)

• 3+ years of experience in backend development

• Strong command of TypeScript, Java, Python, Node.js, and SQL-based RDBMS such as PostgreSQL or MySQL

• Proven track record in infrastructure automation and infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Cloud Formation, Terraform, Ansible, or similar

• Practical experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines including GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or CircleCI

• Proficiency in using observability and monitoring tools like Datadog, New Relic, or equivalent

• Demonstrated success in applying Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices

• Strong debugging and troubleshooting abilities across application layers, operating systems, and components of cloud infrastructure

• Exceptional collaboration and communication skills with engineering, product, and support teams
