Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Design and oversee scalable, highly available multi-cloud infrastructures across AWS and GCP.

• Manage Kubernetes clusters and workloads to ensure scalability, reliability, and efficient deployment processes.

• Create and maintain reusable infrastructure-as-code solutions, primarily utilizing Terraform.

• Develop CI/CD pipelines and automate the provisioning of infrastructure, deployments, and operations.

• Implement monitoring solutions and establish reliability metrics.

• Handle incidents and optimize infrastructure capacity.

• Apply security best practices and incorporate security testing into processes.

• Support compliance with SOC 2 and ISO 27001 standards.

• Optimize cloud expenditures and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.

• Collaborate with engineering, product, and security teams.

• Utilize AI tools to enhance automation and documentation, ensuring that outputs remain accurate and secure.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6–10 years of related experience in the field.

• Expert-level knowledge of AWS.

• Proficient understanding of GCP and experience with multi-cloud environments.

• Experience with Kubernetes, including EKS, GKE, Helm, ArgoCD/Flux, and service mesh technologies.

• Advanced knowledge of Terraform.

• Experience with Ansible; familiarity with Pulumi/CDK is advantageous.

• Full ownership of CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.

• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, and OpenTelemetry.

• Knowledge of IAM, KMS, SOC 2/ISO 27001 standards, container scanning, and RBAC.

• Proficient in Bash and Python scripting.

• Skills in AI-augmented IaC and automation, with a critical approach to reviewing outputs.

• Advanced proficiency in English.
