Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Design and create cloud infrastructure solutions for UEM SaaS Commercial and Federal services.

• Develop and sustain infrastructure configurations utilizing Terraform, Ansible, and various other tools.

• Collaborate to provide scalable and secure cloud solutions across diverse SaaS offerings.

• Implement best practices in DevOps, covering CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and automated deployment.

• Enforce security best practices and ensure adherence to commercial standards such as SOC 2, ISO 27k, and PCI, as well as federal security regulations.

• Proactively identify and address vulnerabilities.

• Own production solutions and engage hands-on with automation code, architectural advancements, security upgrades, and vulnerability management.

• Continuously evaluate and enhance the security, delivery, and reliability of SaaS products.

⛳️ Requirements

• US Citizenship is mandatory.

• A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in a DevOps or similar Cloud engineering role.

• Proven history of execution and successful delivery.

• Established development and scripting experience in Python, PowerShell, and Bash.

• Proficient with Infrastructure as Code tools, with a preference for Terraform.

• Familiarity with Configuration Management tools, with a preference for Ansible.

• Strong expertise in cloud platforms, preferably AWS.

• Experience with containerization technologies.

• Understanding of cloud security principles and experience in implementing security controls within cloud settings.

• Knowledge of federal security frameworks such as FedRAMP and NIST.

• Awareness of cloud security compliance requirements.

• Ability to learn independently and be self-motivated.

• Exceptional documentation and communication abilities.

• Previous experience in a SaaS product is highly preferred.
