This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Develop applications leveraging MongoDB, Next.js, Nest.js, Node.js, along with DevOps tools and methodologies.
• Code, review, deploy, test, and iterate on enterprise-level products.
• Engage in regular Scrum ceremonies.
• Design systems to ensure high availability and resilience utilizing AWS services.
• Create and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and YAML.
• Containerize and orchestrate applications with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Construct scalable AWS cloud infrastructure with EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS.
• Develop secure and reliable web applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on architecture, scalability, and performance decisions.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Automate infrastructure using Terraform, Jenkins, and Docker.
• Address complex real-time performance and reliability challenges.
• Establish monitoring and logging solutions to maintain system health and performance.
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science, information technology, or engineering.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in development using the Node.js/MERN stack or similar technologies.
• At least 2 years of experience in core web application development (both front-end and back-end).
• Over 2 years of experience in CI/CD and/or DevOps-related roles.
• Familiarity with AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, and CloudFormation.
• Proficient in Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions.
• Experience working with YAML for configuration management.
• Knowledge of Terraform.
• Proficient in Git and GitHub.
• Strong skills in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience in secure software development and architecture.
• Knowledge of security best practices and protocols.
• Familiarity with tools such as VSCode, Postman, Jira, Jenkins, and Docker.
• Experience with monitoring solutions like AWS CloudWatch or the ELK Stack.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Capable of thriving in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check, including criminal history, prior employment, and educational verification.
• Preferred qualifications include AWS certifications, serverless architecture knowledge, microservices experience, networking and security expertise, performance optimization skills, and community contributions.
• Experience with PHP is a significant advantage.
