Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Design, automate, and manage cloud infrastructure utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.

• Assist in the migration of on-premises systems and services to the cloud while modernizing legacy systems.

• Construct, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines to ensure dependable releases.

• Implement and uphold monitoring and observability using Datadog and other pertinent tools.

• Oversee access, identities, and permissions within cloud and DevOps environments.

• Ensure platform reliability and security, including SSL and deployment management.

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and client stakeholders to synchronize DevOps tasks with business objectives and translate requirements into actionable assignments.

• Diagnose infrastructure and deployment issues, respond to incidents, and participate in on-call rotations as necessary.

• Advocate for DevOps best practices, refine processes, and disseminate knowledge throughout the team.

• Conduct interviews with recruiters, internal team members, and clients as part of the hiring process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of DevOps experience, with at least 5 years focusing on GCP and Azure.

• Robust hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, networking, automation, and CI/CD, primarily emphasizing GCP.

• Proficient in Terraform, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux administration.

• Experience utilizing Datadog for monitoring and observability purposes.

• Strong comprehension of security, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), containerization, and cloud monitoring.

• Demonstrated troubleshooting abilities in high-load, mission-critical scenarios.

• Capacity to convert business requirements into actionable technical tasks and strategies.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, including effective interaction with technical teams and client stakeholders.

• Strong sense of ownership and dedication to quality and thorough documentation.

• Proactive mindset toward enhancing DevOps tools, methodologies, and standards.

• Upper-Intermediate level of English proficiency.

• Experience with MuleSoft.

• Familiarity with .NET applications, microservices, and event-driven architectures.

• Scripting expertise in Bash or Python.

• Knowledge of information security, compliance, and disaster recovery practices.

• Experience in mentoring or leading DevOps engineers.

• Familiarity with additional performance monitoring and system management tools.
