Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with JFrog customers to design, establish, and develop CI/CD pipelines and DevOps platforms utilizing JFrog products, technologies, and methodologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and Cloud Native practices.

• Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Support, and Development teams while engaging directly with Developers and DevOps Professionals to ensure the success of customers' DevOps journeys with the JFrog platform.

• Design, set up, and develop CI pipelines using Docker, NPM, Java, Pypi, and associated tooling.

• Educate the open-source community and JFrog customers.

• Influence the features and roadmap of JFrog tools in alignment with customer requirements.

• Stay updated with the latest trends in technology related to DevOps and CI/CD.

• Build strong relationships by working closely with customers and the community.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of experience with Continuous Integration tools including CI Server, Git, Artifactory, Jenkins, Maven, Docker, and NPM.

• Proven ability to construct software delivery pipelines utilizing Docker, npm, Java, Pypi, and various DevOps tools such as Git, binary repository management, binary scanning, and Continuous Integration.

• Solid understanding of infrastructure and operations, covering storage, networking, computing, security, and cloud environments (public and on-premises).

• Experience with Continuous Deployment and Delivery tools like Chef, Puppet, Ansible, and Kubernetes.

• Hands-on experience with Linux is essential.

• Practical experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) is essential.

• Customer-facing experience with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

• Familiarity with server-side software in both on-premise and cloud environments.

• Experience in software architecture design and product development is a plus.

• A strong desire to learn continuously.

• An open-source mindset.
