Senior DevOps Engineer, Media and Advertising Industry

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain essential platform components and infrastructure utilizing Infrastructure as Code methodologies.

• Create and manage self-service tools and workflows for application deployment, monitoring, logging, and scaling.

• Implement and oversee containerization technologies and orchestration platforms.

• Develop and sustain efficient, secure, and scalable CI/CD pipelines.

• Enforce platform security best practices and integrate security tools effectively.

• Design and implement solutions for monitoring, alerting, and observability.

• Troubleshoot and resolve platform-related issues in collaboration with development teams.

• Contribute to the evolution of platform architecture and roadmap.

• Keep up to date with trends in platform engineering and cloud-native development.

• Manage competing tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

• Participate in an on-call rotation during daytime PST hours.

• Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to further the platform vision.


⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, or Platform Engineering roles.

• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code tools, including Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.

• Significant experience with at least one major cloud provider, preferably GCP or AWS.

• Strong understanding of operating systems, networking, storage, databases, and associated ecosystem components.

• Experience with Terraform, Packer, CloudFormation, Ansible, Chef, and Helm.

• Proven track record in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, TeamCity, Octopus, or Jenkins.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Bash, Python, Go, Perl, or Ruby.

• Experience in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.

• Required experience with containerization.

• Familiarity with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, LogicMonitor, SolarWinds, or Datadog.

• Strong understanding of security best practices in cloud environments.

• Excellent collaboration, documentation, and knowledge-sharing skills.

• Ability to work independently, resourcefully, and seek assistance when necessary.

• Proactive attitude, willingness to take ownership, and commitment to ongoing personal development.

• Willingness to take part in on-call rotation during daytime PST hours.
