Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Design and uphold dependable cloud infrastructure utilizing AWS and Cloudflare

• Create CI/CD pipelines for secure, zero-downtime production deployments

• Enhance monitoring and alerting systems to accelerate incident response and recovery

• Manage all environments through modular, version-controlled Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)

• Lead initiatives for cost reduction, security enhancement, and performance optimization

• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure alignment of technology with business objectives

• Provide technical guidance and play a key role in significant architectural decisions

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of practical experience in constructing and managing production AWS infrastructure

• AWS Professional certification (Architect or DevOps) or equivalent knowledge

• Proven experience in developing highly available and fault-tolerant systems at scale

• Strong skills in Linux systems administration and advanced Bash scripting

• In-depth understanding of the AWS Well-Architected Framework and best practices

• Demonstrated experience with Terraform modules, state management, and CI workflows

• Familiarity with observability stacks such as Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki

• Proficient in Python or Node.js with experience in optimizing Nginx performance

• Excellent problem-solving abilities with a focus on root-cause analysis

• Practical experience managing containerized applications on AWS ECS and Docker

• Experience in iGaming, Sportsbook, or Fintech (Wallets, Odds, or Bonus engines) is advantageous

• Knowledge of PCI-DSS or gaming regulatory standards is a plus

• Familiarity with multi-region cloud deployments is a plus
