Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Design, provision, and sustain scalable, technology-agnostic cloud environments utilizing Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation, or Ansible

• Engineer robust continuous integration and automated deployment pipelines with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins

• Deploy, configure, and manage containerized applications at scale using Docker, Kubernetes, or AWS ECS

• Establish comprehensive monitoring, centralized logging, and proactive alerting frameworks through Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or CloudWatch

• Integrate security automation throughout the delivery lifecycle

• Enforce IAM policies, manage SSL/TLS, ensure data encryption, and uphold infrastructure compliance

• Collaborate with software engineering PODs to identify and resolve complex infrastructure bottlenecks

• Optimize cloud resource consumption

• Implement modern Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) methodologies

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of specialized professional experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Infrastructure Engineering within dynamic client-facing software environments

• Advanced, hands-on expertise in at least one leading cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP

• Profound understanding of cloud-native architecture principles

• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code, particularly with Terraform and Pulumi

• Experience with configuration management tools

• Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Go

• Advanced knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes orchestration (EKS, GKE, AKS) or AWS ECS

• Strong independent problem-solving abilities

• Proactive mindset towards reducing technical debt

• Proven track record of enhancing engineering reliability standards

• Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is essential

• Ability to collaborate directly and in real-time with U.S.-based engineering leaders
