DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Enhance and sustain essential infrastructure elements, such as compute platforms, cloud services, service mesh technologies, cloud provisioning tools, and networking infrastructure.

• Boost reliability, scalability, efficiency, availability, and operational effectiveness.

• Collaborate with Cloud Infrastructure clients and stakeholders to address production issues and operational hurdles.

• Triage, investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve intricate technical challenges.

• Work alongside Cloud Infrastructure engineers to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.

• Discover opportunities to minimize operational toil through automation and process enhancements.

• Create scripts and tools to improve operational efficiency and reliability.

• Maintain and enhance documentation to facilitate self-service and operational excellence.

• Track trends and recurring issues to pinpoint areas for infrastructure improvement and investment.

• Support and enhance cloud-native platform services and infrastructure components.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience with public cloud platforms, especially AWS.

• Practical experience with Amazon EC2, Amazon EKS, and various Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) offerings.

• Strong expertise in Kubernetes administration and support.

• Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting and debugging production systems.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.

• Capability to work across diverse technologies and platforms to resolve technical challenges.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience in developing automation and scripting solutions using Python, Golang, Bash, and Ruby.
