Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and sustain automation solutions utilizing PowerShell, Python (FastAPI), and Java.

• Develop, enhance, and manage backend APIs and integrations with Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and Microsoft Entra ID.

• Automate tasks related to identity and access management, user lifecycle management, and administrative workflows.

• Diagnose, optimize, and provide support for existing applications and services.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to address technical challenges.

• Contribute to ongoing improvements by adhering to security, quality, and operational best practices.

• Tailor solutions to meet customer requirements and align with banking industry standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, or a related field.

• Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps.

• Strong expertise in Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift, and Linux environments.

• Experience in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Workflows, and GitOps methodologies.

• Solid understanding of REST APIs, authentication, and integration principles.

• Familiarity with security best practices and platform quality assurance.

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.

• Proven ability to enhance existing systems and implement DevOps best practices.

• Experience with monitoring and observability tools.

• Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Customer-focused mindset with outstanding communication and teamwork skills.

• Regular utilization of AI tools to boost productivity, automate repetitive tasks, support decision-making, and achieve higher-quality results.

• Responsible use of AI tools by crafting effective prompts, critically assessing outputs, recognizing limitations, and taking ownership of the final deliverables.

• Experience managing Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online and Microsoft Entra ID (desirable).

• Practical experience with PowerShell scripting (desirable).

• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases (desirable).

• Familiarity with or understanding of banking-related processes (desirable).

• Proficiency in the German language (desirable).
