Senior DevOps Engineer – Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Utilize your DevOps skills in hands-on customer projects.

• Provide support to customers throughout the complete development lifecycle.

• Automate processes for building, testing, and deployment.

• Implement infrastructure management automation with Infrastructure-as-Code tools.

• Monitor and enhance both on-premises and cloud infrastructures continuously.

• Oversee alerting, monitoring, and tracing systems.

• Work collaboratively with developers and testers in agile, cross-functional teams using Scrum or Kanban methodologies.

• Ensure the reliable operation of applications developed.

• Convey the operations perspective to development teams, Product Owners, and other stakeholders in projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of three years of experience in DevOps, along with prior experience in Operations.

• A degree in IT or a comparable qualification, complemented by relevant professional experience.

• Proficiency with Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, GitLab, Linux, Docker, and Red Hat OpenShift.

• Programming and scripting capabilities in Python, Bash, and Java.

• Strong expertise in establishing CI/CD pipelines.

• Familiarity with microservice architectures and deployments on Kubernetes.

• Solid understanding of network infrastructures, including routing, load balancing, and DNS.

• Experience in agile, cross-functional team environments.

• Excellent communication skills with a collaborative approach towards colleagues and clients.

• Passion for consulting.

• Fluent in German and proficient in English.
