Senior Developer – JavaScript, Node.js, Python

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Engage with business clients to collect and comprehend their requirements.

• Collaborate with customers and Genesys data science teams in the processes of discovery, extraction, loading, data transformation, and result analysis.

• Establish and apply data intuition methods to cleanse and ensure the integrity of both customer and Genesys data.

• Design, own, and enhance data pipelines by employing data modeling and ETL/ELT best practices.

• Develop, refine, and continuously optimize high-quality models.

• Partner with PS and Engineering teams to fulfill customer requirements and relay customer feedback, concerns, and feature requests.

• Persistently enhance reporting, analysis, and overall workflows.

• Visualize, present, and showcase findings effectively.

• Conduct knowledge transfer sessions for both customers and internal teams.

• Communicate within a global context, considering cultural, linguistic, and time zone differences.

• Adapt work hours to align with customer and team interactions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering).

• Over 5 years of pertinent experience in Data Science or Data Engineering.

• More than 5 years of practical experience with Elasticsearch, Kibana, and the development of real-time analytics solutions.

• Practical experience in application development on AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Strong proficiency in Java, NodeJS, or Python.

• Background in application development using contact center product suites like Genesys, Avaya, or Cisco is a plus.

• Expertise in data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL/ELT development.

• Competence with REST API, JSON, and AWS.

• Experience in independently managing and delivering projects.

• Ability to juggle multiple tasks and switch contexts between projects effectively.

• Exceptional communication, initiative, and coordination abilities with a keen eye for detail.

• Capability to articulate and discuss complex subjects with both technical experts and business leaders.

• Hands-on experience with JavaScript, Node.JS, or Python.

• Practical experience in AWS application development, including Lambda, ECS Fargate, EKS, Docker, and SQS.
