Senior Developer – Freelance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Address prioritized technical debt within a well-established web application.

• Independently investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues, while escalating or collaborating as necessary.

• Tackle accessibility challenges and enhance the overall quality and maintainability of the user experience.

• Operate within a defined sprint cadence, taking full ownership of assigned tasks from definition to completion.

• Collaborate closely with backend engineering, QA, and Production teams to ensure alignment on priorities, dependencies, and delivery timelines.

• Submit clean, well-scoped pull requests with comprehensive documentation and engage thoughtfully with review feedback.

• Proactively identify technical risks, blockers, or dependencies that may affect delivery timelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Senior Frontend or Full Stack Developer, focusing on building and maintaining production-level digital experiences.

• Proficiency in developing modern web applications using Next.js, TailwindCSS, and TypeScript.

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, with a capacity for independent work and sound technical decision-making.

• Familiarity with established codebases and experience in addressing technical debt.

• Proven track record in identifying and resolving web accessibility challenges.

• Strong development practices, including maintaining clean PR etiquette, logical scoping, and responsiveness to code reviews.

• Comfort and experience working within established Agile or sprint-based development methodologies.

• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills across engineering, QA, and Production teams.

• Ability to quickly acclimate and make substantial progress with minimal supervision.
