Senior Developer – Business Applications, AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and implement comprehensive software solutions that encompass user interfaces, application logic, data, and integration layers.

• Assume technical ownership of designated applications and projects from the initial requirements gathering to delivery, handover, and ongoing support.

• Create and enhance .NET applications, ERP systems, low-code platforms, and SharePoint solutions.

• Construct and maintain APIs and system integrations among internal applications, cloud services, customers, and third-party providers.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions and ensure realization of intended business benefits.

• Ensure the reliability of mission-critical applications through problem analysis, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and third-level support.

• Update and modernize existing and legacy applications.

• Adhere to development standards through maintainable code, peer code reviews, and up-to-date solution documentation.

• Offer technical guidance, coaching, and mentoring to junior developers.

• Encourage effective utilization of modern development tools, including AI-assisted development technologies.

• Complete tasks within agreed project timelines while upholding service level agreements.

• Provide updates on progress, risks, and issues.

• Work collaboratively with IT teams, business leaders, stakeholders, end users, software vendors, implementation partners, consultants, contracted developers, customers, and suppliers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent commercial experience.

• A minimum of five years of commercial software development experience, including the delivery of full-stack solutions.

• Proficient development skills in C# and .NET, along with experience in front-end web development.

• Strong SQL capabilities and a solid understanding of relational database design.

• Proven experience in designing and constructing APIs and system integrations.

• Experience in designing, building, extending, and integrating solutions on an ERP or a similar enterprise business system, including customizations, extensions, and reporting.

• Familiarity with the Microsoft ecosystem, such as SharePoint, Azure, or other equivalent cloud services.

• Practical experience with AI-assisted development tools in daily operations.

• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, take ownership of solutions, and meet project timelines and service level agreements.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the capability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

• Australian working rights and the ability to fulfill any pre-employment checks required for the position.

• Experience with a mid-market ERP platform like Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Dynamics NAV, SAP Business One, NetSuite, or a willingness to learn one.

• Familiarity with the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate.

• Experience with Azure services, such as data integration and messaging tools.

• Experience integrating AI or large language model capabilities into business applications.

• Understanding of EDI and retail or supply chain integration.

• Background in food, FMCG, agriculture, or supply chain sectors.
