Senior Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Establish the architecture and integrate software solutions based on the scope of projects agreed upon with clients.

• Direct the development team and allocate tasks through project management tools.

• Guarantee that the software delivered adheres to quality, cost, schedule, technology platform, and architectural standards.

• Provide defect-free software components while ensuring client satisfaction.

• Guide developers, standardize software quality, and foster the technical and personal development of the team.

• Oversee project configuration to maintain integrity, traceability, and maintainability.

• Collaborate with the software architect to establish and evolve the architecture model throughout the project lifecycle.

• Analyze functional specifications and create technical specifications utilizing text, UML diagrams, and other modeling techniques.

• Organize work within the designated project management tool.

• Code, integrate, test, maintain, and enhance software components according to technical specifications.

• Identify, create, and execute tests for the developed components.

• Generate technical documentation in alignment with contractual obligations.

• Set up the local development environment.

• Tackle high-complexity tasks and prevent or identify deviations in projects.

• Provide information to the DevOps team for configuring production pipelines within the continuous integration tool.

• Assist the IT team and client users with developed components, modules, and packages.

• Conduct deliveries and integration testing in the client environment.

• Oversee software acceptance testing and deployment in client environments.

• Train clients and facilitate knowledge transfer about the developed software.

• Execute related tasks as assigned by the manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or completion of any undergraduate degree along with a postgraduate certification (specialization, master's, or doctorate) in Information Technology.

• Training certifications in development (Java, Angular, HTML, CSS, or other technologies related to system development).

• Preferred experience: 7 years in software development.

• Experience in team leadership.

• Proficiency with Java 8 and Spring Boot.

• Familiarity with relational databases, specifically Oracle.

• Experience in unit testing development.

• Understanding of SOLID principles.

• Development experience using established practices, such as SonarQube.

• Advanced knowledge of the designated platform and technologies.

• Familiarity with software architecture and software development patterns.

• Knowledge of infrastructure for configuring, integrating, and deploying software on the specified platform and technologies.

• Ability to write clean and readable code.

• Skills in code optimization.

• Proficiency in the primary languages of the technology stack.
