Senior Desktop Liability Adjuster

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Oversee a diverse portfolio of Employers' Liability and Public Liability injury claims

• Manage claims related to Third Party Property Damage

• Examine policy coverage and legal responsibilities

• Negotiate and resolve claims for both insurers and corporate clients

• Handle injury and property damage claims until completion

• Investigate claims made against policyholders

• Offer comprehensive liability guidance

• Collect and evaluate pertinent evidence

• Detect potential fraud risks

• Maintain proactive communication with all involved parties

• Manage litigated cases as necessary

• Ensure meticulous record keeping and correspondence throughout the claims process

⛳️ Requirements

• In-depth understanding of current case law, common law/statutes, and regulations

• Insurance qualifications are preferred, but relevant experience is equally appreciated

• Strong skills in teamwork and collaboration

• Solid grasp of insurance law and the interpretation of policy wording

• Familiarity with contract law, statutes, and civil liability

• Excellent investigative skills and attention to detail

• Ability to engage with corporate clients, small businesses, insurers, and brokers

• Influencing abilities to secure agreement on proposals and ideas

• Effective listening skills and the capacity for empathetic responses

• Clear and concise communication abilities

• Drive to deliver prompt, efficient, and personalized service to both external and internal customers
