Senior DataOps Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee, support, and monitor environments on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Manage and maintain PostgreSQL databases utilizing Cloud SQL.

• Provision, configure, and support cloud instances and resources effectively.

• Create and manage resources such as Cloud SQL, Cloud Composer, BigQuery (datasets, tables, and permissions), and Memorystore.

• Conduct database administration tasks, including INSERT, UPDATE, and DELETE operations, structural modifications, and provide support for business users.

• Administer and manage analytical environments and data platforms.

• Supervise monitoring activities to ensure availability and performance, while also identifying areas for continuous improvement.

• Manage multiple requests and projects concurrently, collaborating with various teams and business sectors.

• Provision infrastructure using Terraform (Infrastructure as Code).

• Version and manage code utilizing GitLab (BVS Cloud environment) and GitHub (EFX Cloud environment).

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in administering PostgreSQL databases.

• Practical experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.

• Familiarity with Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Cloud Composer, and Memorystore.

• Experience in using Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management.

• Knowledge of version control systems such as GitHub and/or GitLab.

• Background in monitoring environments and resolving incidents.

• Ability to collaborate effectively across various initiatives and business contexts.

• Preferred: experience within DataOps environments.

• Preferred: understanding of cloud observability and monitoring practices.

• Preferred: experience with governance and cost optimization in GCP.

• Preferred: experience in automating processes and managing infrastructure as code.
