Senior DataOps Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee, support, and monitor environments within Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Manage and maintain PostgreSQL databases utilizing Cloud SQL.

• Provision, configure, and maintain cloud instances and resources.

• Create and manage resources including Cloud SQL, Cloud Composer, BigQuery (datasets, tables, and permissions), and Memorystore.

• Execute database administration tasks such as INSERT, UPDATE, and DELETE operations, structural modifications, and provide support for business teams.

• Administer and regulate analytics environments and data platforms.

• Monitor system availability and performance, identifying opportunities for ongoing enhancements.

• Handle multiple requests and projects concurrently, collaborating with various teams and business units.

• Provision infrastructure through Terraform (Infrastructure as Code).

• Version and manage code using GitLab (BVS Cloud environment) and GitHub (EFX Cloud environment).

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in administering PostgreSQL databases.

• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.

• Knowledge of Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Cloud Composer, and Memorystore.

• Experience in using Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management.

• Understanding of code version control utilizing GitHub and/or GitLab.

• Experience in monitoring environments and addressing incidents.

• Ability to collaborate effectively across different initiatives and business contexts.

• Experience in DataOps environments is a plus.

• Knowledge of cloud observability and monitoring is advantageous.

• Familiarity with GCP governance and cost optimization is a plus.

• Experience in automating processes and managing Infrastructure as Code is an advantage.
