Senior Database Engineer – PostgreSQL, Supabase

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Optimize queries, indexes, storage, and overall performance.

• Manage large volumes of insertions, updates, and queries.

• Ensure the stability, integrity, availability, and security of data.

• Design an architecture capable of supporting greater scale and volume.

• Develop and maintain APIs, integrations, and automations related to the database.

• Identify and address technical needs as the product evolves.

• Administer, optimize, and enhance PostgreSQL/Supabase.

• Analyze and troubleshoot performance issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong experience working with PostgreSQL in a production environment.

• Proficient knowledge of advanced SQL, optimization, performance, and database architecture.

• Experience in contexts where volume and scalability have been part of the challenge.

• Familiarity with Supabase will be highly valued.

• Experience using AI tools applied to development, such as Claude Code, Cursor, or similar.
