Senior Data Team Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Lead the management of data for complex, global clinical trials from the initial study setup to the final database lock.

• Act as the primary client liaison for all deliverables related to data management.

• Supervise the reconciliation of SAE, PK, and external data alongside database deployment.

• Oversee timelines, budgets, and resource distribution to satisfy customer expectations.

• Provide mentorship to junior data management personnel and advocate for best practices.

• Foster process enhancements and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and SOPs.

• Engage in recruiter video discussions and participate in hiring manager interviews during the application process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, health, clinical, biological, or mathematical disciplines.

• A minimum of 10 years of direct experience in clinical data management.

• At least 5 years in a Lead Clinical Data Management position.

• Demonstrated success in managing large global studies involving over 1000 patients.

• Proficient in Medidata Rave, Oracle InForm, or comparable EDC systems.

• Strong comprehension of GCP, ICH, and clinical research methodologies.

• Exceptional communication and leadership abilities.
