Senior Data Solution Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of approximately 2 custom client projects each month, managing them from needs qualification to final delivery.

• Develop deliverables using Python (pandas) notebooks, SmartDash dashboards, mockups, and SQL (BigQuery / Snowflake).

• Collaborate with Account Executives to assess client needs and transform them into detailed, sellable analyses.

• Create models that require in-depth analysis, including footfall and performance forecasting, to enhance recommendations.

• Present findings directly to clients, address live inquiries, and incorporate feedback into actionable next steps.

• Gain mastery over MyTraffic’s data ecosystem, encompassing source production, capabilities, and limitations.

• Document each project thoroughly and ensure a smooth handover.

• Share valuable insights with the Product team to assist in converting custom work into platform functionalities.

• Work in collaboration with the Custom Solutions, Account Executive, Product, and Data teams.

• Participate in a live client restitution simulation and technical debrief during the recruitment process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years in a technical or solution engineering role within a SaaS company, providing analyses or custom solutions to external clients.

• Proficiency in Python (pandas) and SQL, with the capability to conduct a comprehensive analysis on large datasets independently.

• Comfortable with building predictive models (forecasting) and translating them into business recommendations.

• Skilled in producing client-ready outputs, dashboards, mockups, and restitution presentations.

• Fluency in both Spanish and English is required; knowledge of French is a plus.

• Must have freelance status with an established company structure.

• Located in Barcelona or Madrid.

• Available for a full-time engagement lasting 4 to 5 months, starting as soon as possible.

• Strong communication skills with clients, autonomy, business acumen, ownership, agility, quick learning, and teamwork capabilities.
