This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +1 more state.
• Collaborate closely with HR leaders to identify forecasting and automation requirements.
• Develop predictive models and AI agents for workforce analytics.
• Create and implement predictive models utilizing Python and SQL.
• Assess model performance, re-evaluate models with fresh data, and enhance models when accuracy declines.
• Create AI agents that can query People data, analyze it, and take necessary actions.
• Establish tools, orchestration, and safeguards for the secure management of sensitive workforce data.
• Choose suitable analytical techniques, conduct experiments, apply causal inference, quantify uncertainty, and communicate methodologies to senior leadership.
• Leverage LLMs to identify trends in unstructured People data, including survey feedback and exit interview notes.
• Gain familiarity with Lennar’s people data, extract and format model inputs, identify data deficiencies, and collaborate with Data Engineering on data pipelines.
• Articulate statistical concepts, model outcomes, and agent functions to HR and business stakeholders.
• Manage sensitive workforce and compensation information with care.
• Report directly to the Head of People Analytics.
• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related analytical discipline with equivalent experience.
• Over 5 years of relevant experience, or 1+ years with a PhD, or 3+ years with a Master's degree as a data scientist, delivering models and engineering solutions in a production setting.
• Expertise in predictive modeling, including regression, time series forecasting, and classification techniques.
• Strong grounding in statistics, including experimentation and causal inference.
• Capacity to work autonomously, design validation methodologies, and communicate processes to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Practical experience in developing applications with LLMs, including agents, tool utilization, function calling, retrieval, or prompt-driven workflows.
• Proficiency with tools such as Claude to enhance development speed.
• Experience handling large, intricate operational or HR datasets, including cleaning, structuring messy data, and extracting data via SQL or APIs.
• Proficient in SQL.
• Strong command of Python.
• Ability to convey model findings and agent actions in straightforward terms to non-technical HR and business leaders.
• Capability to use computer equipment, and perform physical tasks such as speaking, hearing, bending, stooping, reaching, lifting, and moving or carrying up to 25 lbs.
