📋 Description

• Take ownership of the analytics and experimentation strategy focusing on pacing, targeting, and associated optimization aspects.

• Create and implement advanced pacing algorithms and budget allocation frameworks utilizing adaptive control and model-predictive control methodologies.

• Oversee the complete experimentation process within optimization systems.

• Analyze intricate or conflicting signals and convert findings into actionable insights for Product and Engineering leadership.

• Utilize causal inference, statistical modeling, and machine learning techniques to enhance ad spending across various timelines and auction opportunities.

• Deliver presentations of insights and strategic suggestions to the leadership teams in Product, Engineering, and Data Science.

• Act as a thought leader and technical expert in Ads Optimization.

• Provide mentorship to colleagues within the team.

• Work collaboratively with Ads Product and Sales teams to collect advertiser feedback and guide optimization priorities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in ads optimization within an ad tech environment, with practical involvement in pacing, targeting, budget allocation, or similar systems.

• Strong foundational knowledge in data science encompassing product and data analysis, A/B testing, causal inference, and statistical modeling.

• Experience in deploying optimization systems into production, including assessment and refinement in live settings.

• Exceptional communication abilities and the capacity to distill complex technical information for senior business and engineering audiences.

• A minimum of 6 years of professional experience in data science or a related domain.
