• Design, train, and deploy predictive models, such as fraud scoring, user segmentation, and behavioral models, while assessing their business value.
• Build and enhance conversational agents and workflows using LLMs (RAG, tool calling, MCP) to transform model outputs into actionable insights.
• Evaluate model and agent quality through metrics, traces, and continuous testing (e.g., MLflow), optimizing cost and latency in production.
• Conduct exploratory data analyses (EDA) with transactional, conversational, and contextual data, translating findings into business decisions.
• Collaborate with engineering and data teams to expand the data sources available on the MCP server, ensuring data quality and integrity.
• Define and adjust product and funnel metrics as hypotheses change, identifying missing data necessary for swift pivots.
• Present results through dashboards and BI tools to empower non-technical teams to make informed decisions.
• Document and disseminate best practices in data science and applied AI within the team.
• Proficient in Python for data science and ML (pandas, scikit-learn; desirable XGBoost/LightGBM) and advanced SQL over a data warehouse.
• Experience in production predictive modeling: regression, classification, and segmentation, including validation and monitoring.
• Knowledge of LLMs and agents in production: RAG, tool calling, and orchestration with LangChain/LangGraph or similar technologies.
• Ability to evaluate and monitor models and LLMs (MLflow or equivalent, traces, quality metrics).
• Experience with MCP (creating servers or connecting agents to internal data) is desirable.
• Familiarity with semantic caching and techniques for reducing inference cost and latency is a plus.
• Proficient in BI tools: Looker, Metabase, Power BI, or Tableau (desirable).
• Experience with AWS or GCP and FastAPI for serving models and services is a plus.
