Data Scientist Sr – Científico de Datos

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Formulate complex issues as modeling challenges

• Conduct thorough research cycles

• Provide reproducible solutions that can be integrated by engineering teams

• Work closely with a machine learning (ML) engineering team

• Clearly define responsibilities within the data science and ML ecosystem

• Adhere to software engineering standards in addition to analysis standards

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's or PhD in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Physics, Computer Science, or related fields

• Minimum of 5 years of experience

• Advanced Python as the primary and sole development language

• Strong expertise in Scikit-Learn, XGBoost, LightGBM, Pandas, Polars, Statsmodels, SciPy, TensorFlow, and/or PyTorch

• Experience with deep learning models

• Advanced SQL skills

• Proficiency in PySpark

• Familiarity with Git

• Experience in AI

• Advanced level of English
