Business Analytics Lead Analyst

📋 Description

• Collaborate with clinical, operational, product, and business stakeholders to identify high-impact analytics opportunities that align with strategic priorities.

• Convert intricate business inquiries into analytic problem statements, measurement plans, and actionable recommendations.

• Examine extensive healthcare claims and associated data sources to uncover trends, opportunities, risks, and drivers of business performance.

• Oversee program evaluations and outcome studies utilizing descriptive, predictive, and causal analytic techniques.

• Establish success metrics and measurement strategies that demonstrate impact on business and customer outcomes.

• Consolidate findings into executive-ready insights that shape decisions and prompt action.

• Work collaboratively across analytics teams to ensure timely project delivery of high-quality business outcomes.

• Discover innovative strategies, scalable best practices, and emerging analytic methodologies.

• Remain informed about advancements in analytics, healthcare research, statistical methodologies, and technological innovations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare analytics, business analytics, data science, health services research, or a related discipline.

• Experience with healthcare claims data or other intricate healthcare datasets.

• Proficiency in SQL.

• Proficient in at least one statistical programming language, such as Python or R.

• Understanding of statistical analysis, predictive modeling, program evaluation, or causal inference methodologies.

• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.

• Ability to convey complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Capability to manage multiple priorities and work efficiently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

• An advanced degree in Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Public Health, Data Science, or a related field is preferred.

• Experience in designing quasi-experimental studies, difference-in-differences analyses, or other evaluation frameworks is preferred.

• Familiarity with machine learning, data mining, and advanced healthcare analytics techniques is preferred.

• Experience in shaping business strategy through data-driven insights is preferred.

• Home internet connection must be via a cable broadband or fiber optic provider, with speeds of at least 10Mbps download and 5Mbps upload if working remotely.
