This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers across product teams to enhance acquisition, activation, retention, monetization, and customer experience.
• Work alongside marketing, finance, and operations to identify growth opportunities and enhance business decisions.
• Advocate for experimentation and decision-making frameworks to facilitate rapid and confident iterations.
• Establish KPIs and success metrics.
• Utilize statistical analysis, forecasting, causal inference, and machine learning to comprehend user behavior and business performance.
• Detect opportunities by analyzing user journeys, lifecycle behaviors, conversion funnels, and financial performance.
• Guide squad and company priorities with data-driven insights on impact, trade-offs, and ROI.
• Create dashboards, models, and self-service tools to enhance visibility into growth and business performance.
• Partner with the data team to ensure a shared and consistent data layer.
• Promote experimentation, curiosity, and evidence-based decision-making throughout Shakepay.
• Over 5 years of experience in data science, growth analytics, experimentation, or similar roles within high-growth environments.
• Proficient in SQL and Python.
• Profound understanding of experimentation, causal inference, statistical analysis, forecasting, and KPI design.
• Strong intuition for product and business dynamics.
• Experience in cross-functional collaboration with marketing, finance, operations, or product teams.
• Capability to work independently and navigate ambiguous projects from concept to execution.
• Excellent communication and data-influencing abilities.
• Proficiency in managing and delivering multiple projects with meticulous attention to detail.
• A sense of curiosity, speed, and a proactive attitude in dynamic environments.
• Familiarity with dashboarding and data visualization tools.
• Eagerness to learn and evolve in a fast-paced setting.
• Fluency in English is essential.
