This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Construct, enhance, and sustain statistical and machine learning models at scale, incorporating NLP and explainable AI methodologies.
• Create, optimize, and implement LLM systems with thorough performance evaluation and user confidence assessment.
• Design extensive experiments and formulate significant analytics to assess the overall impact of AI in healthcare environments.
• Engage in hands-on data engineering, which includes data cleaning, transformation, and the development of SQL and Python pipelines.
• Collaborate with clinicians, data scientists, data platform engineers, and product specialists to convert data insights into functional products.
• Present findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Assess modeling techniques and operationalize algorithms in conjunction with data scientists and product teams.
• Over 3 years of relevant industry experience in developing, launching, and maintaining ML systems in a production environment at scale.
• At least 1 year of experience in developing and fine-tuning LLM systems.
• Excellent cross-functional communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Practical data engineering experience in manipulating datasets, data cleaning, and creating pipelines, with proficient coding skills in Python and SQL.
• Strong foundations in software development, commitment to high code quality, and stable architecture.
