This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Conduct research, design, develop, implement, and test econometric, statistical, optimization, and machine learning models.
• Create forecasting, modeling, and coding to support the PPM Wearables audience measurement production workflows.
• Build data pipelines, carry out analyses, and summarize findings.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver clear, data-driven solutions and recommendations.
• Acquire expertise in PPM sampling methodologies, audience measurement, and panel management strategies.
• Execute queries on large relational databases for analyses and requests.
• Perform intricate data analysis and visualizations utilizing Python, Tableau, R, and related tools.
• Supervise, maintain, and enhance data algorithms for PPM sample methodologies in a time-sensitive production setting.
• Keep departmental procedures, checklists, and metrics updated.
• Engage in interdepartmental teams and essential projects, including requirement documentation, software development, and testing.
• Address internal and external client requests with data-driven answers.
• Implement quality checks to identify and rectify errors in production processing and analysis.
• Lead code reviews and advocate for modular coding, unit testing, and CI/CD workflows to guarantee product quality, stability, and scalability.
• A Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• Over 3 years of professional experience in Statistics, Data Science, and/or related fields.
• More than 3 years of experience in manipulating, analyzing, and interpreting complex data sources.
• At least 3 years of programming experience in Python, PySpark, and SQL for data pipeline development.
• More than 3 years of experience in data visualization using Tableau and/or similar tools.
• Experience in cloud-based environments such as AWS.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools, code management, and CI/CD workflows utilizing GitLab or similar platforms.
• Project management skills, including the ability to prioritize multiple assignments.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to explore new solutions and quickly iterate based on customer feedback.
• Strategic thinking with an understanding of how data insights influence product and business objectives.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to tackle problems independently as well as within cross-functional teams.
• Nice to have: familiarity with ANOVA, Chi-squared tests, correlation, regression, and Student t-tests.
• Nice to have: expertise in querying large datasets with SQL and experience with Oracle/Netezza/Data Warehouse and Data Lake structures.
