This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the strategy and roadmap for leveraging and activating G2 data through APIs, MCP, strategic integrations, and developer and partner interfaces.
• Manage the integration hub service, developer portal, and public-facing platforms for Marketing Solutions clients, Data Solutions clients, and partners.
• Streamline and migrate the integration portfolio.
• Establish reusable platform capabilities for customers, partners, and various use cases.
• Identify partners that enhance the MCP surface area and provide additional customer value.
• Determine whether use cases fit within MCP, as an API, or require a custom integration.
• Prioritize investments based on customer feedback, revenue potential, partner readiness, technical leverage, and strategic differentiation.
• Make decisions regarding build, buy, partner, or defer options.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Data teams on APIs, data contracts, authentication, permissions, reliability, and the developer experience.
• Prototype integrations and deploy targeted code to accelerate learning or resolve delivery obstacles.
• Develop reusable patterns for presenting workflows via MCP.
• Translate technical limitations and architecture into customer and business trade-offs.
• Oversee the Data Solutions roadmap focused on revenue and pipeline expansion.
• Understand how investors, financial institutions, AI labs, and other clients utilize G2 data.
• Shape offerings, which include data coverage, packaging, pricing, delivery options, and customer experience.
• Assist with customer opportunities through discovery, technical assessments, and pilot programs.
• Enhance data quality, coverage, freshness, documentation, and delivery methods.
• Identify obstacles to adoption, risks related to renewal, and opportunities for expansion.
• Productize recurring commercial and partner requirements.
• Define specifications and launch strategies for partner-enabled MCP capabilities and integrations.
• Lead the cleanup and migration of legacy integrations, including customer communication and deprecation strategies.
• Establish planning and feedback mechanisms across Product, Revenue, Partnerships, Customer Success, and Marketing.
• Provide commercial teams with visibility into capabilities, roadmap intentions, dependencies, and trade-offs.
• Balance immediate needs with a sustainable platform strategy.
• Define contributions across revenue, MCP adoption, partner-expanded surface area, migration progress, reliability, retention, renewals, and expansion.
• Over 10 years of product management experience, including senior leadership of technical B2B products, platforms, APIs, data products, or integration ecosystems.
• Strong proficiency in APIs, authentication, real-time and batch data delivery, integration architecture, developer workflows, and MCP.
• Ability to read and write code sufficiently to prototype integrations, assess implementation constraints, and implement targeted changes when necessary.
• Proven experience in transforming unclear customer, partner, and commercial demands into a focused product strategy and reusable capabilities.
• Experience in leading technical products from inception to stability.
• Demonstrated capability to collaborate with Engineering, Data, Partnerships, Revenue, Customer Success, and executive stakeholders with competing priorities.
• Proven track record in growing a B2B data or technical product business through customer discovery, offering development, and close collaboration with commercial teams.
• Excellent communication skills and sound judgment regarding when to act quickly, when to standardize, and when to decline requests.
• Experience with data licensing, commercial data products, B2B data, developer tools, SaaS platforms, partner-led products, MCP, agentic workflows, AI-enabled integrations, semantic data access, or partnership dynamics may enhance the application.
