This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Take ownership of the portfolio strategy and roadmap for Business Intelligence, reporting, analytics, decision support, and applied data science across Merchandising, Planning, Inventory, and Store Operations.
β’ Direct store operations intelligence initiatives for senior store vice presidents, field leaders, store managers, store captains, and operational teams.
β’ Spearhead merchandising and planning intelligence efforts for merchants, planners, buyers, inventory optimization teams, and seasonal or pre-season planning workflows.
β’ Collaborate with the Data Products GPM to link trusted domain data foundations to BI, analytics, decision support, and applied data science products.
β’ Identify opportunities for forecasting, optimization, recommendations, and model-enabled workflows to enhance decision-making.
β’ Convert ambiguous business requests into product challenges, measurable results, user workflows, prioritized roadmaps, and delivery plans.
β’ Revamp reporting through certified metrics, semantic-layer alignment, self-service analytics, and scalable insights products.
β’ Set up portfolio governance that encompasses intake, prioritization, roadmap reviews, dependency management, release planning, adoption planning, and post-launch value tracking.
β’ Mentor and develop in-house BI product managers as well as third-party PM resources.
β’ Evaluate business impact through decision quality, planning cycle time, forecast accuracy, inventory productivity, store execution, adoption, reduced manual effort, and operational ROI.
β’ Over 10 years of experience in product management, data product management, analytics product management, BI product leadership, data science product management, or similar technical product roles.
β’ Proven experience leading product portfolios in merchandising, retail, stores, supply chain, inventory, planning, marketplace, finance, or operation-heavy environments.
β’ Strong product leadership capabilities in BI, analytics, metrics, reporting modernization, semantic layers, data products, and/or applied machine learning.
β’ Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity within highly matrixed organizations involving senior business and technology stakeholders.
β’ Experience managing product managers, contractors, consultants, third-party PMs, or cross-functional delivery partners.
β’ Technical proficiency in data platforms, BI tools, analytics engineering, data governance, experimentation, forecasting, optimization, and machine learning-enabled decision systems.
β’ Excellent communication skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between executive business needs, user workflows, data constraints, technical tradeoffs, and delivery roadmaps.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in a relevant discipline is required.
β’ An advanced degree in business, computer science, engineering, analytics, data science, or a related field is preferred.
β’ Cameras must be turned on during all virtual interviews.
