This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Develop data products that integrate available data into actionable predictions, automate manual tasks, and deliver comprehensible information for human-in-the-loop decision-making.

• Collaborate with a cross-functional team to enhance algorithmic pricing throughout the organization.

• Iteratively construct a system that establishes core signals of supply, demand, willingness-to-pay, and anticipated ROI.

• Adjust prices dynamically to achieve optimal pricing in response to changing conditions.

• Incorporate interpretability into the system to ensure that quoted prices are justifiable and that price changes are driven by clear factors.

• Ensure that pricing exception decisions are executed consistently.

• Cultivate a deep understanding of campaign objectives and limitations.

• Utilize machine learning, statistical modeling, and optimization techniques to deliver significant results for clients.

• Mentor and guide less experienced members of the data science team.

• Address a wide variety of analytical inquiries and challenges.


⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Applied Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Operations Research, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• Over 6 years of relevant data science experience in developing data products, deploying models into production, and providing analyses to both internal and external stakeholders.

• Proficiency in Python and SQL.

• Comprehensive experience with the end-to-end data stack, including data manipulation, analysis, visualization, model deployment, and pipeline orchestration.

• Advanced expertise in machine learning and data science methodologies, such as predictive modeling, model validation and selection, network analysis, price elasticity estimation, and optimization under constraints.

• Experience in promoting models throughout their lifecycle and monitoring their performance.

• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset for engaging with stakeholders.

• A master's or doctoral degree in a related field is preferred.

• Professional experience in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, value-based pricing, B2B pricing, and digital advertising sectors is preferred.

• Familiarity with Snowflake, Cursor, Airflow, HEX, and Gurobi is preferred.

• Ability to identify and resolve problems in a fast-paced environment.

• Capacity to translate complex data findings into compelling narratives.

• Ability to work collaboratively with engineering, product management, pricing, and other teams.

• Consistently delivers results in alignment with expected timelines.
