Senior Data Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Design, construct, optimize, validate, and secure machine-learning and advanced analytical models.

• Create graph-based analytics for analyzing supplier, beneficial ownership, and supply chain relationships.

• Conduct entity resolution across various government, commercial, and open-source datasets.

• Develop and sustain data processing and analytic pipelines.

• Construct behavioral anomaly detection models for both host and user activities.

• Develop cascade-based analytics to effectively prioritize high volumes of cyber alerts.

• Establish clear baseline models prior to implementing advanced machine-learning techniques.

• Create interpretable and explainable models with outputs that are traceable to their sources.

• Define and assess model performance metrics along with acceptance criteria.

• Monitor for feature, input, and model drift while facilitating model retraining as necessary.

• Execute production-scale performance testing and enhance analytics for large datasets.

• Package validated analytics for deployment in secure government environments.

• Assist with containerized deployment, which includes managing dependencies, SBOMs, vulnerability scans, and release documentation.

• Document model assumptions, methodologies, constraints, validation outcomes, and technical configurations.

• Integrate feedback from analysts and investigators into cycles for model improvement.

• Collaborate closely with Morgan 6 technical leaders, data analysts, and government mission partners.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in data science, machine learning, advanced analytics, or a closely related technical discipline.

• Strong expertise in Python development.

• Proven experience in developing, testing, and validating machine-learning or advanced analytical models.

• Experience with large, intricate, multi-source datasets.

• Familiarity with statistical analysis, anomaly detection, predictive modeling, or similar analytical techniques.

• Experience in designing and assessing model performance.

• Capability to develop reproducible and auditable analytical workflows.

• Excellent technical documentation skills.

• Ability to articulate complex analytical methods and findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Capacity to work independently while also collaborating with analysts, engineers, and government stakeholders.

• Must be able to obtain and maintain necessary government security and system access.

• Availability to commence work by October 15, 2026.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, or Dual Citizen.

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent relevant professional experience.

• Must fulfill all government security, suitability, and system access prerequisites associated with the position.
