Senior Data Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create predictive models and machine learning algorithms to address intricate business challenges.

• Perform data exploration, analysis, validation, and interpretation with an emphasis on quantifiable results.

• Extract and transform data from relational databases utilizing SQL.

• Build analytical solutions, automation processes, and data manipulation workflows using Python.

• Implement statistical modeling and machine learning techniques for data analysis.

• Leverage machine learning, deep learning, and data visualization libraries and frameworks to develop analytical solutions.

• Design solutions that incorporate NLP, Generative AI, LLMs, and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation).

• Act as a liaison between business units and IT departments.

• Deliver findings and insights to audiences without technical backgrounds.

• Facilitate data-driven decision-making to achieve business objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in Python for data manipulation, automation, and developing analytical solutions.

• Familiarity with SQL for data extraction and transformation from relational databases.

• Understanding of statistical modeling and machine learning methodologies.

• Experience with Scikit-learn, Streamlit, and Matplotlib/Pyplot.

• Knowledge of TensorFlow and PyTorch frameworks.

• Familiarity with NLP, Generative AI, LLMs, and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation).

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.

• Proficient with notebooks like Jupyter and Databricks.

• Experience using experimentation tools such as MLflow.

• Knowledge of statistical libraries, including Statsmodels and SciPy.

• Experience in applying supervised, unsupervised, and deep learning techniques.

• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with both technical and business teams.

• Ability to convey results to non-technical stakeholders.

• Preferred: Background in LangChain.

• Preferred: Familiarity with LangGraph.

• Preferred: Experience in developing chatbots.
