Senior Data Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and refine deep learning models for predictive analytics and optimization.

• Create embedding-based techniques to effectively represent high-cardinality entities such as users, devices, creatives, publishers, advertisers, apps, campaigns, and placements.

• Discover opportunities to enhance the performance, scalability, and generalization of machine learning models utilizing raw signals and learned representations.

• Experiment with various modeling techniques, rigorously evaluate results, and convert successful experiments into production-ready solutions.

• Architect, code, and deploy machine learning models along with supporting production tools, primarily using Python.

• Manage large-scale datasets and contribute to the data pipelines, feature infrastructure, and feedback loops essential for training and continuously refining models.

• Collaborate with ML Engineers, Data Engineers, and Software Engineers to ensure reliable training, serving, and monitoring of models in production.

• Analyze performance metrics of models and products to assess how algorithm modifications affect bidding, campaign performance, and overall business outcomes.

• Clearly communicate technical insights and trade-offs, while collaborating with other Data Science teams to exchange knowledge and best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field.

• Strong academic foundation in Applied Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Computer Science, Econometrics, or another quantitative domain.

• Extensive experience with Python and the scientific/machine learning ecosystem in Python.

• Practical experience in developing and evaluating machine learning models, with a robust grasp of statistical and machine learning principles.

• Hands-on experience with Deep Learning and various neural network architectures.

• Experience in working with large-scale datasets and/or high-cardinality categorical or ID-based features.

• Capability to transition models from experimentation to production, collaborating closely with engineering teams.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a talent for independently exploring ambiguous issues and transforming them into actionable solutions.

• Proficient in conducting daily professional communications in English, both written and verbal.
