This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
β’ Lead and engage in the creation, validation, and delivery of sophisticated analytics, statistical models, machine learning solutions, and reporting tools.
β’ Design and deploy data-driven solutions utilizing data science, predictive modeling, natural language processing, and visualization technologies.
β’ Address intricate business challenges and enhance patient care outcomes.
β’ Streamline healthcare operations and facilitate evidence-based decision-making.
β’ Collaborate with business leaders, clinicians, IT teams, and other key stakeholders.
β’ Convert data into actionable insights and propel strategic initiatives.
β’ 5-7 years of pertinent experience in data science, analytics, statistical modeling, or a related discipline.
β’ Proven experience in designing, developing, and implementing predictive models, machine learning solutions, and analytical frameworks.
β’ Expertise in data-oriented programming languages and data visualization tools.
β’ Experience handling large, complex datasets and integrating data from various sources.
β’ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
β’ Ability to convey complex analytical results to both technical and non-technical audiences.
β’ Experience in developing dashboards, metrics, and performance reporting solutions.
β’ Excellent collaboration and teamwork abilities across different functional areas.
β’ Capacity to plan, execute, deliver, and support data-driven initiatives.
β’ Understanding of data governance principles, data quality standards, and analytical best practices.
β’ Experience applying advanced analytics and machine learning techniques in healthcare, payer, provider, or clinical settings.
β’ Familiarity with natural language processing (NLP), data mining, and predictive analytics methodologies.
β’ Proven track record of enhancing healthcare quality, operational efficiency, or patient outcomes through data science solutions.
β’ Experience in presenting analytical outcomes and acting as a consultative partner to business and executive stakeholders.
β’ Knowledge of analytics, visualization, and data engineering tools and technologies.
β’ Experience mentoring team members and advocating for data science best practices.
β’ Commitment to continuous learning and keeping abreast of emerging data science technologies and methodologies.
β’ A Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Analytics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field is preferred.
β’ An equivalent combination of education, specialized training, and relevant professional experience may be considered.
β’ An advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) is preferred but not mandatory.
