Senior Product Manager, Data Integrations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Manage the data exchange processes between Lively and its partners, including formats, frequency, contracts, and resolution of failures.

• Oversee AI agent functionalities for data onboarding, field mapping, error identification, explanations, and suggested resolutions.

• Determine when AI agents should act, provide advice, or seek human intervention.

• Oversee the lifecycle of enrollment and eligibility data, encompassing modifications, corrections, exceptions, and reconciliations.

• Ensure platform reliability, throughput, latency, availability, recovery, data integrity, failure management, capacity planning, and accuracy of AI validation.

• Establish a multi-year integration strategy, target architecture, migration pathway, role of AI, and decisions regarding build/buy/partner options.

• Convert partner requirements, customer obligations, and regulatory limitations into comprehensive specifications.

• Assist in the technical onboarding of partners, from specification to live deployment.

• Act as the primary subject matter expert for implementation, customer success, sales, leadership, partners, and internal teams.

• Organize complex, multi-quarter integration projects into clear milestones.

• Define and track integration health, onboarding efforts, and metrics related to AI agent accuracy.

• Utilize AI tools for research, specification, data analysis, and prototyping purposes.

• Monitor benefits, payroll, and data interoperability trends while identifying opportunities for partnerships and standardization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of product management experience, with significant ownership of integrations, data exchange, or platform APIs.

• Proven experience in exchanging structured business data between organizations through files, APIs, or both.

• Demonstrated ownership of API products through design, documentation, development, and retirement phases.

• Strong judgment regarding data reliability at scale.

• Experience working closely with external technical partners.

• Technical expertise to independently investigate data inquiries and produce comprehensive specifications.

• Experience managing sensitive personal or financial data within a regulated environment.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Strong familiarity with Agile methodologies and standard product tooling.

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

• Experience in the benefits or health insurance sectors is a plus.

• Familiarity with payroll providers, HR platforms, benefits administration systems, carriers, or third-party administrators is advantageous.

• Proficiency with industry data standards is advantageous.

• Experience in modernizing legacy integration surfaces is a plus.

• Background in evaluating integration and connectivity vendors is beneficial.

• Experience in creating AI-enhanced product experiences is advantageous.

• Experience with both B2B and B2C products is a plus.

• Leadership, mentoring, or development experience with junior PMs is advantageous.
