Senior Data Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Utilize filters within HR systems to identify the target audience, taking into account employment relationships, work arrangements, organizational areas, and the status of assignments or requisitions.

• Retrieve records related to work schedules, absences, attendance, substitutions, and timekeeping for specified reference periods.

• Cross-reference configuration data from the system to establish identification keys for each employee's work schedule plan.

• Create daily work schedules based on shift-cycle logic.

• Implement data-cleansing rules to validate the eligibility of the records analyzed.

• Compare anticipated entries with those logged in the system, pinpointing necessary additions, updates, and blocks.

• Collaborate with the IT team to facilitate bulk entries.

• Aggregate timekeeping records by matching clock-in and clock-out times for temporal analysis.

• Detect unusual patterns in special work arrangements, such as consistent daytime schedules and weekends off.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a field related to technology.

• Proficiency in Python for data manipulation, automation, and the development of analytical solutions.

• Knowledge of SQL for data extraction and transformation from relational databases.

• Experience with statistical modeling and machine learning techniques as applied to data analysis.

• Familiarity with Scikit-learn, Streamlit, and Matplotlib/Pyplot.

• Understanding of TensorFlow and PyTorch.

• Knowledge of NLP, Generative AI, LLMs, and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation).

• Acquainted with cloud computing platforms: AWS and Azure.

• Preferred: experience with LangChain and LangGraph.

• Preferred: background in building chatbots.

• Preferred: excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with technical teams.

• Preferred: experience acting as a liaison between business and IT.

• Preferred: ability to present results to non-technical audiences.
