Senior Data Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Lead cross-functional initiatives in AI/ML and steer the overarching AI vision and strategy across the enterprise.

• Collaborate both independently and with data analytics professionals within and outside of client AI/ML solutions.

• Manage the complete model development process for pricing, demand forecasting, and elasticity estimation.

• Deploy models using Azure ML and Databricks.

• Implement prescriptive analytics through Linear Programming, Mixed Integer Programming, or Reinforcement Learning.

• Establish and uphold feature stores, model monitoring workflows, and drift checks utilizing MLflow.

• Design and conduct A/B tests or quasi-experiments to evaluate revenue, pricing uplift, and the impact on PCP attach rates.

• Utilize SHAP/LIME and other model interpretability tools to elucidate model behavior to Revenue Management partners.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of practical Data Science experience delivering production-ready ML solutions.

• Expertise in Python, scikit-learn, XGBoost, Spark/Delta, SQL, Azure ML, Databricks, and MLflow.

• Familiarity with PyTorch or TensorFlow is advantageous.

• Strong grasp of experimental design, statistical testing, and foundational causal inference principles.

• Capability to transform technical concepts into actionable business insights.

• Proficient in aligning stakeholders and facilitating cross-functional communication.

• Experience in conveying insights, assumptions, risks, and trade-offs in clear, concise narratives suitable for executives.
