Senior Data Product Owner – Azure DevOps, Data Strategy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Lead the development and ongoing enhancement of data-driven products and solutions.

• Build, manage, and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business value and strategic goals.

• Convert existing documentation into actionable requirements, user stories, and work items.

• Coordinate and align stakeholders across Research & Development, Finance, and IT departments.

• Guide the development team throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to facilitate efficient delivery.

• Define and execute data strategies while advocating for Data Mesh principles and concepts.

• Contribute to the creation and improvement of data products that drive business success.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 12 years of relevant professional experience in IT, Data Management, Product Management, or a related field.

• Proficient in German, both written and spoken (mandatory).

• Demonstrated experience with Azure DevOps.

• Strong knowledge of SDLC processes and software development methodologies.

• Practical experience in backlog management and prioritizing requirements.

• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication abilities.

• Experience with Data Strategy and Data Products.

• Proficient in translating complex business requirements and existing documentation into clear, structured, and actionable deliverables.

• Preference for candidates located in Bavaria.
