Senior Data Product Owner – Azure DevOps, Data Strategy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Develop, sustain, and prioritize the product backlog in alignment with business value and strategic objectives

• Convert existing documentation into actionable requirements, user stories, and work items

• Facilitate coordination and alignment among stakeholders in R&D, Finance, and IT

• Support the development team throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to ensure efficient delivery

• Define and execute data strategies

• Advocate for Data Mesh principles and concepts

• Assist in the development and enhancement of data products that contribute to business success

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 12 years of relevant professional experience in IT, Data Management, Product Management, or related fields

• Proficient in German, both written and spoken (required)

• Demonstrated experience with Azure DevOps

• Strong knowledge of SDLC processes and software development methodologies

• Practical experience in managing backlogs and prioritizing requirements

• Exceptional skills in stakeholder management and communication

• Experience in Data Strategy and Data Products

• Capability to transform complex business requirements and existing documentation into clear, structured, and actionable deliverables

• Preference for candidates located in Bavaria
