Senior Data Product Owner – Azure DevOps, Data Strategy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Develop, manage, and prioritize the product backlog by assessing business value and strategic alignment.

• Convert existing documentation into actionable requirements, user stories, and work items.

• Facilitate coordination and alignment between stakeholders across R&D, Finance, and IT departments.

• Provide guidance to the development team throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to ensure efficient delivery.

• Establish and execute data strategies while advocating for Data Mesh principles and concepts.

• Play a key role in the development and enhancement of data products that contribute to achieving business objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 12 years of relevant professional experience in IT, Data Management, Product Management, or a related field.

• Proficiency in the German language, both written and verbal (required).

• Demonstrated experience with Azure DevOps.

• Strong comprehension of SDLC processes and software development methodologies.

• Practical experience in managing backlogs and prioritizing requirements.

• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication abilities.

• Familiarity with Data Strategy and Data Products.

• Capacity to transform complex business requirements and existing documentation into clear, structured, and actionable outputs.
