Senior Data Platform Engineer – Azure, Databricks, Python

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance data platform components within Databricks.

• Create reusable libraries, frameworks, and accelerators for Data Engineering teams.

• Establish standards for pipelines, observability, documentation, and data quality.

• Design connectors and solutions for data ingestion from various sources.

• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of the platform by evaluating new technologies and best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience with **Databricks**.

• Development skills in **Python** and/or **PySpark**.

• Knowledge of **Azure**.

• Familiarity with **Git** and **CI/CD**.

• Experience with **Unity Catalog**, **Delta Live Tables (DLT)**, or Databricks Asset Bundles (DABs).

• Proficiency in English to operate in a global environment.

• Highly desirable to have experience with **Qlik Replicate** or CDC tools.

• Understanding of pipeline observability.

• Experience in building shared frameworks or libraries.

• Familiarity with MLflow.

• Azure or Databricks certifications.
