Senior Data Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.

📋 Description

• Assist in all facets of configuration control, data management, and deficiency reporting.

• Aid in the implementation of government and industry guidelines for requirements management, document management, change management, production and delivery, and configuration management.

• Oversee performance, functional, and physical baselines.

• Acquire, validate, store, safeguard, and process essential data.

• Guarantee data accessibility, reliability, and timeliness for users.

• Design and implement architectures, policies, practices, and procedures for comprehensive enterprise data lifecycle management.

• Shape departmental strategy.

• Make technical decisions regarding moderately complex to complex project components.

• Work autonomously to determine objectives and methods for assignments.

• Report to the Associate Director, Innovation Portfolio Strategy.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.

• Over 3 years of practical experience with Python for data processing, transformation, automation, validation, or similar data workflows.

• More than 3 years of experience with SSIS.

• At least 3 years of experience with SQL, SSIS, Python, and Databricks.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience working with relational databases and large, complex datasets.

• Excellent technical documentation skills, including the ability to document data flows, business rules, dependencies, processes, and production support procedures.

• Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

• Experience in healthcare or managed care is preferred.

• Familiarity with data extraction and analysis technologies such as SAS, SPSS, QlikView, Hadoop, SQL, or similar tools is preferred.

• Minimum home internet speed of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload.

• Capability to work from a designated space without ongoing interruptions.

• Willingness to occasionally travel to Humana offices for training or meetings.
