Senior Data Integration Specialist – Smart Grid Software

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Become a member of our four-person team

• Create digital replicas of power grids within Venios.Net

• Design and oversee the functional and technical architecture

• Integrate various data sources and systems including GIS, SCADA, metering systems, asset data, and weather forecasts

• Ensure the accuracy of the data provided

• Work closely with project management, product management, development, DevOps, and clients

• Offer technical guidance and serve as a sparring partner for both internal and external stakeholders

• Assist the implementation team during pilots and rollouts

⛳️ Requirements

• A completed degree in a STEM field, ideally in computer science, geoinformatics, electrical engineering, or physics

• Several years of programming experience, preferably in high-level languages like C#

• Multiple years of experience as a data integrator, systems integrator, or in a similar position

• Proficiency in complex data models, integration architectures, and APIs

• Ideally, familiarity with the energy sector or smart-grid environments

• Knowledge of power grid structures and geographic information systems is advantageous

• Strong grasp of IT architectures, distributed systems, cloud platforms, and data architectures

• Excellent command of both German and English

• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts

• Must reside in, or have authorization to work in, Germany or Austria
