This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Drive swift, data-informed insights to guide product decisions regarding experiments, features, and the strategic direction of MoneyGram's primary digital money transfer product.
• Develop and enhance the perspective on customer experience through analytics and product metrics.
• Support and direct experimental frameworks, including A/B testing, holdouts, and geo-testing.
• Assess the incremental effects of product presentation and feature deployments.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to create data-driven insights that boost performance and growth.
• Extract and organize data into cohorts, evaluating metrics based on cohort performance.
• Analyze partner and customer behaviors and challenges to identify opportunities for enhancing experiences.
• Work alongside Product, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Regional/International teams.
• Provide guidance on go-to-market strategies for new product launches while pinpointing growth opportunities and solutions to business challenges.
• Advocate for analytics tools and processes.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Data Engineering to adopt and utilize BI tools, tag management, and API automation.
• Keep an eye on industry trends and emerging technologies in product analytics to enhance capabilities and methodologies.
• 3–5+ years of experience in analytics or a related quantitative discipline, with a significant emphasis on product analytics in a B2C or technology-focused organization.
• Proven ability to derive insights that shape product strategy and user experience.
• Strong practical skills in data analysis.
• Proficient in SQL for querying and managing large datasets.
• Familiarity with analytics programming is advantageous.
• Extensive experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools; Looker is preferred or similar BI platforms.
• Knowledge of experiment design.
• Capability to extract insights from data and convert them into actionable recommendations and measurable outcomes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficient in explaining technically complex data findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Skillful in visually representing insights, documenting, and presenting findings to stakeholders.
• Comfortable working across functions and establishing relationships with technical partners.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-growth, and uncertain environment.
• Global experience is highly regarded.
• Preference for experience in direct-to-consumer online businesses.
• Strongly valued experience in fintech or financial services.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in analytics.
• An advanced degree or relevant industry certifications are considered a plus.
