Senior Data Governance Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Establish and execute data governance policies, standards, and procedures.

• Oversee data quality, which includes monitoring, remediation, and the prevention of discrepancies.

• Ensure adherence to Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (LGPD) and other relevant regulations.

• Collaborate with both business and IT teams to define roles related to data ownership and stewardship.

• Engage in data integration and migration projects, guaranteeing compliance with governance standards.

• Generate reports and metrics on data quality and governance for stakeholders.

• Contribute to the enhancement of the organization’s data culture.

• Assist with Master Data Management (MDM) and Data Catalog initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data governance, data quality, or enterprise data management.

• Experience in complex environments and digital transformation projects is required.

• Familiarity with Data Lakes, Big Data, and Cloud platforms (GCP/AWS).

• Understanding of governance frameworks such as DAMA-DMBOK.

• Proficiency in data modeling and metadata.

• Knowledge of LGPD and compliance with regulatory standards.

• Certifications like CDMP and DAMA are preferred.

• Experience with data governance and data quality tools such as Collibra, Informatica, Talend, and SAP MDG.

• Proven track record in establishing Data Governance functions and teams.
